We believe we ought to simply, enthusiastically worship in the way God revealed in His Word. Our music is a blend of traditional music, modern adaptations of traditional songs, and modern songs. Our goal is to be doctrinally accurate and to clearly communicate truth from God through music.
We seek to hallow God’s great Name and pray to Him because of both Who He is and who we are. As a church, we want to more and more pray first, always, and about everything. We want to gratefully recognize our complete dependence on God for all things and understand the privilege of prayer that we enjoy because of the finished work of Jesus and His presence at God’s right hand, interceding for us. We want to become a people of prayer when we are together or apart.
God has graciously enabled Calvary to take the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ to many of our families, neighbors, and friends in and around Plainfield. He has also given us the privilege to partner with several like-minded people around the world in our mission to make disciples. We look forward to the day when people from every tribe, tongue, and nation will worship God together around His throne.
Master's Disc Golf
The Master’s Disc Golf Course opened in July 2009. The course is designed for either 9- or 18-hole play, with both recreational and advanced tees. It is conveniently located behind Calvary's facility, on the north border of Hummel Park. It is our desire to introduce more and more people in our community to Jesus Christ through our disc golf course. Score cards and course maps are available at the start sign, hole #1. Discs are available most days at the church office during normal office hours.

Usher and Greeter Ministries
When we ask visitors about their first impressions of Calvary, they almost always mention the caring attention of our greeters and ushers. Calvary is blessed with a group of people who recognize the importance of this ministry, faithfully fulfill it, and have been used by God to see their servant's heart passed to others. Our Christ-like, friendly, and attentive ushers and greeters are dedicated to creating an atmosphere that is welcoming, comfortable, and free of distractions to support worship services so that the gospel can be heard every Sunday.
