“Him we proclaim,
warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom,
that we may present everyone mature in Christ.”

(Col 1:28 ESV)

Learning and living God’s Word is important at every age.  Foundations of biblical training on Sunday morning are a priority training, fellowship, prayer and outreach arm of our church ministry.   Approximately 75% of those who attend our church are also in a "foundations" class.  We hope that number continues to grow!  One of the best ways to grow at Calvary is to get involved in foundation classes (listing below) and a covenant team.  See you this Sunday at 9:00 am!

“Foundations” of Biblical Education

The purpose of “Foundations” classes at Calvary is to faithfully and accurately teach God’s Word.  Ultimately, the goal is for His glory to be seen through individuals practically applying God’s Word to their daily lives.

Covenant Teams

Within foundation classes for adults there are one or more covenant teams.  Covenant teams at Calvary provide the structure for developing and growing authentic Biblical relationships.  This commitment forms the basis of a covenant in which the group cares for, serves, and encourages one another, thus growing in Christ as truth comes to life.

This class / ministry focuses on laying Bible foundations with those who want to minister and grow. Those who are still seeking to understand what it means to be a believer in Jesus Christ will find this class / ministry helpful as well.

"...we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another" (Romans 12:5).

Whether in our weekly Sunday meetings or in our monthly (at least) opportunities outside of class, our goal is to help ONE ANOTHER become more and more like Jesus. We want to study the Bible together (presently the book of Hebrews) so we can teach one another. We want to meet together consistently so we can know each other well enough to pray for one another. We want to love one another wisely and well.
